Cathy Kusuma

Cathy Kusuma has over 20 years of experience in the cruise industry, having worked in various roles at Holland America Line, Seabourn Cruise Line, and Atlas Ocean Voyages. Their most recent position was as the Vice President of Sales Operations at Atlas Ocean Voyages. Cathy also served as the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships & Agent Engagement at Cruise Planners HQ, and as the Director of Operations at The PPI Group. Cathy has held leadership positions in sales and business development, including as the Director of Sales, Eastern US & Canada at Atlas Ocean Voyages and as the Vice President of Business Development, Travel & Procurement at ICON International, Inc. Cathy began their career as a Cruise Staff member at Holland America Line and worked their way up to Shore Excursions Manager before leaving the company. Cathy has experience managing field sales teams and establishing partnerships and engaging agents.

Cathy Kusuma received their BA in Business Administration and International Business from Florida Southern College between 1995 and 1998. Cathy then pursued a career in gemology and attended GIA (Gemological Institute of America) in 2001. In addition to their education, Cathy obtained certifications in Effective Communications from Dale Carnegie Training of Western Connecticut in October 2022, and in Cruise Counselling from Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) in June 2011.
