Javier Moraga Ávila

Javier Moraga Ávila is a professional in the field of electrical engineering with a focus on market operations and asset optimization. Currently serving as a Market Operations Specialist at Atlas Renewable Energy since October 2023, Javier previously held the position of Asset Optimization Specialist. His experience includes working at Coordinador Eléctrico Nacional from February 2021 to October 2023 as an Ingeniero de Control de la Operación, where responsibilities involved operational analysis of the National Electric System and implementation of technical standards. Prior to that, Javier gained valuable insights into large-scale electric utility operations during an engineering internship at Colbun S.A. from January 2019 to July 2020, where a thesis focused on software design for synchronous generator operation curves was also completed.
