Business and Management Analyst at Atlas Technologies

Kacie Heidstra has a diverse work experience in various industries. Kacie started their career as a Bar Manager at The Saint, where they were responsible for creating seasonal cocktail menus and managing inventory. Kacie then worked as an English-as-a-second-language Teacher at English for Asia, teaching communicative English to different age groups and designing tailored courses for international corporations. Kacie furthered their teaching career as a Recreation Manager at Treasure Island Group, where they managed projects and served as a liaison between staff and clientele. Kacie also worked as a Creative Writing Teacher at Miniminds Hong Kong, teaching writing to ESL students, and as an ELA and Reading Teacher at Custer Elementary, teaching English and literacy development to students. Kacie gained experience as an ELA teacher at Skagit Valley College, teaching non-native English speakers and helping them with their reading, writing, speaking, and computer skills. Kacie also worked as an ESOL Instructor at Charleston County School District, teaching part-time evening classes for non-native English speakers and focusing on digital literacy and college and career readiness skills. Currently, they are working as a Business and Management Analyst at Atlas Technologies, Inc.

Kacie Heidstra completed their education in two stages. From 2002 to 2004, they attended the University of Washington and earned a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in English Literature. After a gap, in 2010, they enrolled at TEFL International and obtained a TESOL Certificate in English Language Teaching.
