Canaan Fong

Canaan Fong began their work experience as a Technology Advisor at Greenwich Computer SuperCenter in 2006, where they gained knowledge about the newest technology and assisted customers with in-home computing and home theater needs. They then moved on to Eurostar Industries, Inc. in 2011, where they served as a Catalog Manager and led a small team in conforming to Industry XML standards and interpreting technical data. In 2013, Canaan joined Hamburg Technic Autoteile Deutschland GmbH as a Brand Manager, overseeing the company's presence on social media, website rebuilding, and the production of marketing materials. They also worked as a Catering Bartender at Ronin Bar Services from 2013 to 2018. Canaan's next role was as the Principal at The Tomato from 2015 to 2019, followed by a brief stint as the General Manager at South End Restaurant Group: The Back End in 2021. They then transitioned into the IT field, working as an IT Support Specialist at Innovative Micro Technologies, Inc. from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Canaan is a Jr. Systems Engineer at Atlas Technica, starting in May 2023.

Canaan Fong attended the University of Connecticut from 2002 to 2007, where they studied Philosophy and Linguistics. Canaan Fong has also obtained several certifications, including the Google IT Support certification from Coursera in March 2023, the OSHA 10 Hour Construction Industry Outreach certification from 360training in December 2021, the Google IT Automation with Python certification from Coursera in April 2020, the RingCentral IGNITE! Partner Program Certification from RingCentral in May 2022, and the Inbound Certified certification from HubSpot Academy in July 2018.
