Alex Currit

Alex Currit is a Lead People Data Scientist at Atlassian since April 2025, previously serving as a Research Scientist at Meta from December 2018 to April 2025. Alex completed a PhD in Sociology at Cornell University, where also served as a Graduate Student Researcher from January 2013 to May 2019. In addition, Alex gained experience as a PhD Intern in People Analytics at Google for a brief period in 2018 and worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Brigham Young University from August 2011 to August 2013. Alex holds a Master's degree in Sociology from Cornell University, obtained in 2016.
