Amit Puntambekar is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and platform development. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Head of Platform Engineering at Atlassian, Amit previously held the role of Senior Director of Engineering at Meta. As a co-founder and VP of Engineering at QuickFire Networks, which was acquired by Facebook, Amit contributed significantly to its success. Earlier in the career, Amit co-founded and led the Engineering team for the Intel Transcode Service, while also holding positions in video/media architecture and software engineering at Intel Corporation. Amit began the professional journey as a Software Engineering Intern at Fugro Chance. Amit holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
