Andrew Downing

Andrew Downing is a seasoned professional in technology audit and risk management, currently serving as the Director of Technology Audit at Atlassian since March 2020. Prior experience includes managing IT and systems assurance engagements with a large international client portfolio at BDO UK LLP from September 2017 to January 2020, where Andrew held the positions of Manager and Assistant Manager in Technology Risk & Advisory Services. Andrew began a career at Kier Group as a Reactive Scheduler and gained foundational experience at IBM and Pioneer Creative Partnership in support and web development roles. Andrew is a chartered accountant and certified information systems auditor, with academic credentials including a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Liverpool and ACA from ICAEW.
