Daphne Bourne

Daphne Bourne is an experienced design operations leader currently serving as Sydney Chapter Co-Lead at DesignOps Assembly and DesignOps Mentor at adplist.org, while also holding the position of Design Operations Practices Lead at Atlassian since August 2022. Prior to these roles, Daphne worked as Product Design Operations Lead at Block and Afterpay, overseeing the design operations during the Afterpay acquisition. Daphne's earlier experience includes significant leadership roles at Limepay, Capital One, where the focus was on managing design operations for Consumer Bank Design, and Westpac, where responsibilities included managing multiple design teams and ensuring efficient design processes. With a solid educational background that includes a BA in French and Advertising from Southern Methodist University, as well as additional training in management and French studies, Daphne brings a diverse skill set to the design operations field.
