Mike Dias

Mike Dias is a Principal Data Platform Engineer at Atlassian, leading the architecture of a multi-region customer data lake that processes billions of events daily. With experience spanning several roles at Atlassian, Mike has developed a high-performance query proxy, built a Machine Learning model, and created robust data pipelines. Prior to Atlassian, Mike served as a Senior Software Engineer at Elo7 and Sciensa, where contributions included real-time data ingestion pipelines and a recommendation engine. Additional experience as a Lead Developer at iColabora and Software Developer roles further highlights a strong background in software development and data engineering. Mike holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of São Paulo and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul.
