Saskia Akkerman

Saskia Akkerman is currently the Director of Employment Law - EMEA at Atlassian, where they oversee legal matters related to employment across the region. Previously, they held the position of Legal Counsel EMEA for Labour & Employment at Uber, managing a wide range of employment law topics across 42 countries. Saskia has also served as a Senior Legal Counsel at AFS Group and worked as a Legal Counsel for ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and Lexsigma Advocaten. They hold multiple postgraduate degrees in Employment Law, Contract Law, and Privacy Law from Leiden University, alongside a Master's degree in Employment Law and Intellectual Property Law from the University of Amsterdam.
