Shusen Liu

Shusen Liu is a seasoned professional in the field of machine learning and software engineering, currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Atlassian since September 2025. Prior to this role, Shusen held various leadership positions at Replicant, where responsibilities included directing machine learning initiatives, building and scaling multiple teams, and launching innovative products such as Agentic AI for customer service automation. Earlier in the career, Shusen was associated with Facebook from September 2015 to March 2022, contributing as a software engineer across multiple teams within Facebook Assistant, focusing on conversational AI and search technologies. The career began at Microsoft Research Asia, where Shusen worked as a Research Software Development Engineer and had experience as an intern. Shusen Liu obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from South China University of Technology in 2013.
