Tarra van Amerongen

Tarra van Amerongen is an experienced design leader currently serving as Head of Design for the Atlassian System of Work, overseeing the unification of Atlassian's products. Previously, Tarra led the design team for the Jira Platform, managing a large group of designers across multiple countries. Additional roles include Board Advisor at GoFIGR, Board Observer for the Australian Publishers Association, and MBA Lecturer at UTS Business School. Tarra’s extensive background includes positions at ustwo as Managing Director, ANZ as Strategic Design Director, and Fjord as Group Director. Educational achievements include degrees from MIT Sloan School of Management and the University of Technology Sydney, among others, with a focus on design thinking, management, and disruptive strategy.
