Zheng Xu

Zheng Xu is a Data Engineer with extensive experience in developing and managing data ETL pipelines and infrastructure across various industries. Currently at Atlassian since July 2024, Zheng previously held senior data engineering roles at The Globe and Mail, contributing to the implementation of over 50 data pipelines and managing a team of junior engineers and interns. Prior experience includes establishing ETL processes at DRVN Intelligence Inc. for major Canadian clients and providing IT consulting at Beam Data, where Zheng developed machine learning models and analytical reports for notable clients such as Samsung Electronics Canada. Zheng holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor, earned between 2016 and 2018.
