Molly Wetzel has been working in the scientific field since 2018. Molly began their career as a Research Intern at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the Ying Ge Lab, where they assisted with the software development of the MASH Explorer desktop application for intact-protein mass spectrometry data analysis. Her work was published in the Journal of Proteome Research in 2020. Molly then moved on to become an Associate Research Specialist in the David Evans lab, where they investigated the role of killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIRs) polymorphisms in regulating natural killer cell responses. Her responsibilities included antibody production, flow cytometry, antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity assays, mutagenesis and cloning, and cell culture maintenance. Molly is currently working as a Research Associate Scientist at AtlasXomics Inc.
Molly Wetzel attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
