Carlo Cafasso is an experienced professional in project management and operational technology, currently serving as the Head of Project Management and the Head of Operation & Maintenance Operational Technology at ATM - Azienda Trasporti Milanesi since June 2008. Carlo specializes in overseeing cybersecurity in the operational technology environment and leads teams responsible for various telecommunication systems, including IP and TDM networks, emergency communications, and public announcement systems. Daily responsibilities include maintenance performance reviews, process improvements, resources coordination, and project management. Notable projects led by Carlo include the establishment of the new Operational Control Center for the Milan Metro and the implementation of a new Tetra radio communication system. Prior to ATM, Carlo worked as a Software Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent. Carlo holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and is currently pursuing a course in Project Management at SDA Bocconi.
