Nico Ritschel

Nico Ritschel has a diverse work experience that spans from 2010 to present. In 2010, they worked as a Web Development Intern at AECOM, followed by a Peer Tutor role at UC Irvine in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Hedgeye Risk Management, LLC and a Undergraduate Research Assistant at UC Irvine. In 2013, they were the Founder of Box of Beets, and the first engineering hire at Acorns Grow, Inc. where they contributed heavily to the monolithic Rails backend. In 2018, they joined Netflix as a Senior Software Engineer, working on an internal collaborative application to guide Netflix creative executives optimize the launch date of original titles, and then a full stack engineer on a hiring tool. In 2020, they joined ATM.com as a Technical Lead / Senior Software Engineer, supporting the launch of backend services for the initial app + investment product, and providing various backend support for initiatives.

Nico Ritschel is currently enrolled at UC Irvine, where they are studying Informatics and Software Engineering.
