Marco Schlegel

Marco Schlegel has an extensive work experience in the medical technology industry. Marco is currently serving as the Head of Innovation ENT/GYNE/FEES at ATMOS MedizinTechnik GmbH & Co. KG since September 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at SCHÖLLY FIBEROPTIC GMBH, where they held the positions of Senior Product Lifecycle Manager from September 2021 to August 2023, and Senior Manager Marketing and Product Management from October 2011 to August 2021. Before joining SCHÖLLY FIBEROPTIC, Marco worked at ATMOS MedizinTechnik GmbH & Co. KG as a Business Development Manager, where they supported international partners and OEM-customers and contributed to various strategic projects from August 2010 to October 2011. Marco also served as the President of ATMOS Inc. from September 2004 to July 2010. Marco started their career at ATMOS MedizinTechnik GmbH & Co. KG as a Product Manager ENT, and during their tenure from September 1999 to August 2004, they played a crucial role in handling ENT products.

Marco Schlegel studied at Hochschule Furtwangen from 1989 to 1994. During this period, they pursued a degree in Precision Engineering and graduated as an Engineer.
