Matthew Sheppee

Matthew Sheppee currently serves as COO at AtmosClear Investments since September 2024. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions at Octopus Investments from April 2014 to September 2024, including Investment Manager on the Sustainable Infrastructure Team, where responsibilities included managing the Octopus Sustainable Infrastructure Fund. Matthew also worked in the Corporate Development Team, focusing on M&A and strategic investments; the Institutional Funds Team, overseeing fund-raising activities; and the Renewable Energy Investment Team, where notable achievements included acquiring a 750MW solar portfolio. Earlier experience includes being an Associate at Ludgate Investments Ltd, contributing to growth-stage investments in resource efficiency, and serving as an Associate at Oxara Energy Group, specializing in clean energy investments. Matthew began their career as an Analyst at Accenture, working on IT implementation projects. Academically, Matthew holds an MMath in Mathematics from the University of Oxford and is a CFA Charterholder.
