Mark Gubuan

Mark Gubuan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mark began their career in 1999 as a Bookkeeper/Accountant at GMAC Enterprises and worked there until 2003. Following this, they worked as a Salesperson/Self-Employed at Southwestern Company for a brief period in 2003. Mark then joined LeaseDimensions as a Staff Accountant from 2004 to 2005. In 2005, they worked as a Desk Accountant at Kelly Financial before joining Banfield, The Pet Hospital as a Senior Charter Accountant in 2006. At Banfield, they were responsible for various accounting tasks, including preparing monthly journal entries and assisting in purchase accounting for major acquisitions. Mark worked at Banfield until 2011.

In 2011, Mark joined UTi Worldwide Inc. as a Business Analyst, where they played a crucial role in maintaining and improving the Oracle Financials system. Mark worked at UTi Worldwide Inc. until 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Accountant at Schnitzer Steel.

Most recently, Mark worked at Atmosera, starting in 2018. Mark started as a Senior Staff Accountant and progressed to the role of Accounting Manager in 2021. In this role, they reported directly to the CFO and supported the Executive Team by continuously improving processes. Mark also assisted the CFO in the acquisition and sale of a professional services company.

Mark Gubuan earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business. Mark attended the university from 1998 to 2003. In addition to their major in Accounting, they also pursued a minor in Economics with an emphasis in Money and Banking.
