Ganesh Kasinathan

Ganesh Kasinathan's work experience begins with their current role as the Director of Technology at Atmosic Technologies, where they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at VMware as a Staff Engineer from June 2020 to February 2023. Before that, they were a Member Of Technical Staff at Big Switch Networks (acquired by Arista Networks) from 2018 to 2020. From 2015 to 2018, they pursued entrepreneurial pursuits as an Advisor and Mentor to a couple of startups, as well as an Investor. Ganesh was also self-employed from October 2014 to September 2015. Prior to this, they had a long tenure at Cisco Systems, where they served as a Principal Engineer from November 2005 to September 2014 and as a Technical leader, software engineer from May 1996 to November 2005. Ganesh's early work experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Lynx Real Time Systems from March 1992 to May 1996, where they worked on enhancing and porting the First Posix Compliant Real Time Unix LynxOS to Motorola and PowerPc platforms, and developed device drivers, kernel MMU, interrupt and exception handlers, and other HW specific code.

Ganesh Kasinathan's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Ganesh also completed a certificate course program on Computer Programming from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Additionally, they pursued a half dozen coursework towards a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at Stanford University, though they did not complete the degree. In terms of additional certifications, Ganesh obtained a certification in "Learning Cloud Computing: Core Concepts" from LinkedIn in February 2020.
