Damian Blackburn

President International Operations at ATN International

Damian Blackburn has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Damian is currently the Chief Executive Officer at GTT, where they lead the team in connecting customers, fostering innovation, and strengthening the community. Additionally, they serve as the President of International Operations at ATN International.

Prior to their current roles, Damian was the Chief Aliv Officer at ALIV Bahamas, a mobile network venture in the Bahamas. Damian played a key role in establishing and leading the company, reporting to the Board.

Damian also has experience as a Director at Strident Ventures Limited, where they served as an angel investor and strategic advisor to various start-up ventures. Damian was a board director for Boom Financial Inc, Samba Networks, and Flint, and they were the Chair of Sevis Finansye Fonkoze, Haiti's largest microfinance institution. Damian was also involved in advising other ventures and executive producing the film documentary Father Joseph.

Earlier in their career, Damian held various positions at Digicel Group, including Group Business Development Director, CEO of Digicel Haiti and Group Director of Special Projects, CEO of Digicel Honduras, Regional CEO, and Group Operational Development Director. Damian was responsible for leading expansion initiatives, developing and executing mobile financial services strategies, and overseeing non-mobile ventures.

Before joining Digicel, Damian worked at Orange/Vodafone in a finance director role and at Digicel USA as the Chief Financial Officer. Damian also held positions at BT as the Finance Director for Mobile Interests and at Virgin Mobile as the Head of Commercial Development and Financial Controller.

Damian began their career at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting as a Manager.

Damian Blackburn attended Bingley Grammar School from 1984 to 1989. Damian'sfield of study and degree obtained during this period are unknown. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Economics at Durham University from 1990 to 1994.
