Edward Twiddy

Edward Twiddy currently serves as the Board Chair at Northstar Ventures UK since January 2024. With extensive experience in various leadership roles at Atom bank, including Director of Environment Society and Government, Chief Customer Officer, and Chief Operations and Innovation Officer, Edward has significantly contributed to the banking sector since May 2014. Additional prominent positions include Northern Powerhouse Investment Champion at the Department for International Trade, co-chair of the Progressive Regulatory Environment working group at HM Treasury and TechNation Fintech Delivery Panel, and Vice President of the Wild Trout Trust. Edward holds advisory roles at the Department for Education and Durham Mathematics School, and is a Review Panel member for Northern Accelerator and a Professor in Practice at Durham University. Edward's educational background includes a PhD in Palaeo-environmental reconstruction and a BSc in Geography from Durham University, along with an LLM in Public International Law from the University of Nottingham.
