Meenakshi Ranasinghe

Research Scientist I at Atom Bioworks

Meenakshi Ranasinghe has been working in the field of chemistry since 2015, when they began their role as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Kelaniya. In this role, they taught undergraduate chemistry laboratory classes, tutored undergraduate students, and provided instruction in General Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Biochemistry. In 2016, they began their Graduate Research Assistant role at Clemson University, where they conducted analytical chemistry research and clinical research in the REDDI lab. Meenakshi also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. In 2020, they took on the role of CLIA Lab Technician at Clemson University REDDI Lab. Currently, they are a Research Associate II at Atom Bioworks.

Meenakshi Ranasinghe holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Clemson University, which they obtained in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka in 2014. In addition, they have obtained certifications from the CITI Program, including the NIH Recombinant DNA (rDNA) Guidelines in May 2021 and Group 3 Investigators Requiring the HIPAA Module only in September 2020.
