Abhishek Raol has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Abhishek is currently employed as a Staff Engineer at Atomera since June 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Visiting Scholar at San Jose State University starting in October 2021. From February 2019 to June 2020, Abhishek served as an Instructional Student Assistant - Physics at San Jose State University.
Before their time at the university, Abhishek founded Predictive Maintenance Drones LLC in July 2018. As the Chief Services Officer and Founder of the company, they focused on developing products and services using IoT sensors on drones for industrial inspection and predictive maintenance. Abhishek also conducted research and development with Fulfillment by Amazon to explore the feasibility of indoor drone-based inspection. Abhishek held this role until May 2020.
Additionally, they worked as a Private Tutor at Study Wizards from February 2018 to May 2020, providing educational support to students. Prior to that, Abhishek served as an EECS Peer Mentor at the College of Engineering - Oregon State University from June 2014 to December 2016.
Furthermore, they gained experience as a Student Intern at SEOWebPlanet Solutions from June 2015 to September 2016, and as a Nano Technology Lab Summer Research Internship at Washington State University Vancouver in June 2011.
Abhishek Raol pursued their education in a chronological manner. Abhishek obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Oregon State University, graduating in 2017. Following this, they attended San Jose State University from 2018 to 2020, where they earned their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Abhishek also obtained two additional certifications. In November 2018, they achieved the "Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies" certification from Stanford Center for Professional Development. Furthermore, in July 2018, they acquired the "Part 107 Remote Pilot License" from the Federal Aviation Administration.
