Gaëtan Bossu

Gaëtan Bossu is an experienced Staff Compiler Engineer currently employed at Arm since March 2025, previously holding the same title at AMD from February 2022 to March 2025, where focus was on LLVM compilers in the backend for AI applications. Prior to AMD, Gaëtan worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Xilinx, contributing to the development of LLVM compilers, which was acquired by AMD. During a tenure at Silexica from March 2019 to June 2021, Gaëtan combined High-Level Synthesis (HLS) techniques with LLVM. Early career experiences include a Software Engineer position focusing on compiler development and static analysis topics, and an HPC internship at DDN, where development of an open-source patch for Open MPI was undertaken. Gaëtan also worked as a private mathematics teacher and completed research internship at Télécom SudParis, along with educational qualifications from Télécom SudParis and Linköping University.
