Scott Bibaud

Scott Bibaud has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, including executive positions at Foundation Capital, Altera, and Broadcom. Scott is currently the President & CEO of Atomera.

Bibaud began their career at Broadcom in 2008 as the Executive Vice President | General Manager of the Mobile Platforms Group. In this role, they were responsible for the P&L, strategy, and all major development, organizational, operational, financial and marketing decisions of the organization. Under their leadership, the division turned around from significant losses to profitability in less than three years.

In 2012, Bibaud left Broadcom to join Altera as their Senior Vice President | General Manager of the Communications and Broadcast Division. In this role, they were once again responsible for the P&L, strategy, and all major development, organizational, operational, financial and marketing decisions of the organization. During their time at Altera, they successfully grew the division to become Altera's largest division representing 60% of company revenue.

In 2014, Bibaud left Altera to join Foundation Capital as their Executive in Residence. In this role, they were responsible for the P&L, strategy, organizational, financial and marketing decisions of Altera's largest division representing 60% of company revenue.

Bibaud joined Atomera in 2015 as their President & CEO. Under their leadership, Atomera has become a leading provider of quantum materials and technology solutions.

Scott Bibaud has a MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Northeastern University, a BS in EE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Leadership Development Program from the Center for Creative Leadership.
