Jordan Pachal

Jordan Pachal has a diverse work experience in the animation and visual effects industry. Jordan has worked in various roles including Lead Lighting/Compositing Artist at Atomic Cartoons since 2021. Previously, they worked as a Lighting/Rendering/Compositing Artist at ICON Creative Studio from 2017 to 2021, where they were responsible for achieving the final look of animated series. Jordan also worked as an LRC - Lighting Rendering Compositing artist at Bardel Entertainment from 2016 to 2017, where they separated animated 3D scenes into render layers and reconstructed them into the final look of the series. Before that, Jordan worked as an Imaging PA/Compositor at Nerd Corps Entertainment from 2014 to 2016, where they rendered and composited shots for various television productions and provided troubleshooting and mentoring support to the team. Jordan also gained experience as a Site Contributor at Canadian Online Gamers from 2009 to 2015. Additionally, Jordan worked as a Junior VFX Editor/Generalist/Production Assistant at Look Effects from 2013 to 2014 and as a Runner/Production Assistant at Prime Focus World from 2012 to 2013. Jordan started their career in the technical support field at Stream Global Services in 2012 and attended Vancouver Film School as a student from 2011 to 2012. Prior to their career in animation and visual effects, Jordan worked as a Park Use Permit Officer at the Province of BC - Ministry of Natural Resource Operations from 2007 to 2011, where they were responsible for processing and issuing park use permits.

Jordan Pachal obtained a 3D Animation and Visual Effects Diploma from the Vancouver Film School in 2011-2012. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2005, they completed a Diploma in Multimedia at the Computer Master Institute of Technology. Additionally, in 1998-1999, they pursued Computer Science Studies at Camosun College in Victoria BC.
