Dr. Mayank Verma has extensive experience in the nuclear energy sector, currently serving as a Scientific Officer D/E/F at the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board since July 2010, where responsibilities include leading technical meetings and regulatory inspections for major nuclear power projects, particularly India's first 700 MWe NPP at Kakrapar. Dr. Verma has also contributed to international collaboration as an expert for the International Atomic Energy Agency in Turkey, enhancing capabilities for nuclear oversight. Prior roles include a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Scientific Officer at the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, focusing on plant operations and data systems. Dr. Verma holds a PhD in Operations Research from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Bhilai Institute of Technology.
