Peiqing Xia has been working in the engineering field since 2010. In that time, they have held roles as a Software Engineer at Broadcom Limited from 2010 to 2016, an Engineer at a stealth mode startup from 2016 to 2019, an Engineer at Higher Ground from 2019 to 2021, and an Engineer at Amazon from 2021 to 2022. peiqing has experience with a variety of engineering tasks, including CAD synthesis for machining, Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) computer & Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) customization, XFLR5 Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation, RF Phased Arrays for 2.4G Angle of Arrival estimates, PCB/chip antennas, adaptive baseband, machine learning, test automation for corner cases, embedded development on FreeRTOS/TI-RTOS/Linux, I2C/SPI/Serial/USB, camera, Ethernet, Android development for IoT and Augmented Reality applications, ultra-wide band radio signal localization system, point-cloud based multi-stage robotic arm gesture estimate & real-time control, interception/decryption of RF signal in-the-air, software defined radio (SDR) + GPU processing with deep-learning based visual object confirmation, DC brushless motor torque control and satellite attitude control reaction wheel system, IoT comms/control implementation in mobile phone/embedded/linux/cloud, and embedded Linux development in non-RaspberryPi platform.

Peiqing Xia received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Institute of Satellite Navigation, UK civil aviation authority between 2007 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Satellite Center, Nanyang Tech University, Singapore between 2000 and 2002. peiqing also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Control and Instrumentation from the Department of Automatic Control, Southeast University between 1995 and 1999.
