Hossam Saeed

Hossam Saeed is a Computational Geometry Software Engineer and intern with experience at prominent organizations such as Google Summer of Code and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Currently working as a Geometry Processing R&D Intern at CGAL under Google Summer of Code and as a Software Engineer at Atomica AI, Hossam's projects include implementing Approximated Centroidal Voronoi Diagrams Simplification and enhancing geometry processing algorithms. Previous roles include freelance work on GIS-related geometry calculations and a research fellowship at MIT focused on mollification schemes. Hossam also has experience as a Frontend Web Developer, where an interactive map prototype was developed for Raisa Energy LLC. Hossam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Cairo University.
