Seyed E. H. Amiri, PhD

Seyed E. H. Amiri, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of process engineering and research. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Arizona State University, where they gained extensive knowledge and experience in material synthesis processes and material characterization techniques. Following this, from 2017 to 2020, Amiri worked as a Senior Process Engineer at ASM, specializing in semiconductor epitaxy and plasma etch process development for semiconductor manufacturing. Seyed E. designed and implemented test plans and DOEs to optimize processes based on customer specifications. From 2021 to 2022, Amiri served as a Senior Process Engineer at Atomica Corp., focusing on Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) and collaborating with innovative companies to deliver breakthrough solutions in various fields. Seyed E. then transitioned to the role of Deposition Module Manager at Atomica, where they managed a team of process engineers and vacuum technicians, and successfully executed the master plan for new tool installation and operation while improving manufacturing yield. Currently, Seyed E. H. Amiri is working as a Staff Process Engineer, specializing in deposition/thin film at Atomica, supporting R&D process development and manufacturing production for their proprietary product.

Seyed E. H. Amiri, PhD, has a strong educational background in the field of Materials Science and Engineering. Seyed E. obtained their Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from Arizona State University, where they studied from 2013 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, specializing in Ceramic Engineering, from the Materials and Energy Research Center (MERC). Seyed E. attended MERC from 2006 to 2009. Seyed E. H.
