Semiconductor Process Engineer at Atomica

Xu Wang's work experience begins with their current role as a Semiconductor Process Engineer at Atomica since February 2022. In this position, they are responsible for the ownership and development of photolithography tools and processes. They oversee i-line Steppers and contact aligners, automated coater tracks, manual spin coaters, batch developers, and vapor prime ovens. Additionally, they utilize statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and control tool process deviations.

Prior to their current role, Xu Wang worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois Chicago from May 2020 to January 2022. Following this, they served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Houston Methodist Research Institute from August 2019 to April 2020.

Xu Wang's earliest work experience was as a Research Assistant at the University of Houston from August 2015 to July 2019. In this role, they focused on semiconductor and metal thin film deposition, patterning, and characterization. They specifically worked on projects involving Indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO) thin film deposition by UHV sputtering and metallization layers.

Xu Wang completed a Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Houston, starting in 2015 and graduating in 2019.
