Charlie Shaw

Charlie Shaw is the current Head of Innovation at Atomo Coffee. Prior to this, they worked as the Technical Director of Food Product R&D at ChefSteps from May 2018 to April 2019. Charlie has also worked as a Senior Scientist II at L'Oréal from September 2012 to April 2018, and as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Delaware from June 2009 to February 2012. Charlie began their career as a Graduate Student Research Assistant/Doctoral Candidate at the University of Michigan from December 2005 to September 2011.

Charlie Shaw has a Ph.D. in Macromolecular Science & Engineering from the University of Michigan, as well as an M.S. in the same field from the same school. Charlie also holds B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from Carnegie Mellon University.
