Rainer Schweer

Rainer Schweer has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Rainer began their career at Micronas in 1982 as a Group leader Concept Engineering. In 1987, they joined Technicolor as an IC Manager and later advanced to become the Lab Manager for Advanced TV. From 2005 to 2010, they served as Manager Thomson CIS Business at Technicolor, where they managed the Thomson CMOS Image Sensor Business. In 2010, Schweer joined Viimagic as a Managing Director until 2015, and then continued as a Senior Consultant until 2019. Most recently, they joined Atomos in 2016 as the Head of sensor development.

Rainer Schweer pursued their education in the field of Integrated Circuit simulation and Numerical Mathematics at TU Dortmund University from 1972 to 1981. During this time, they successfully obtained a Dr.-Ing degree as well as a Dipl. Math. degree.
