Marie Sigurd Hasemann

Marie Sigurd Hasemann has extensive work experience in various roles related to product development, design control, usability engineering, and pre-clinical research. Marie currently holds the position of Head of Product Development Laryngectomy at Atos Medical since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Coloplast, where they held several leadership positions, including Director of Systems Engineering, Director of Design Control and Usability Engineering, and Head of Design Control. Marie was responsible for managing teams and driving activities related to systems engineering, design control, risk management, and usability engineering in the development of medical devices. Before Coloplast, Marie worked at Rigshospitalet as a Senior Scientist, where they managed pre-clinical research projects and collaborated with various stakeholders. Marie also had research experience as a Post Doc at BRIC and Rigshospitalet, where they focused on stem cells, leukemia, and tumor development. Marie began their career as a Scientific Assistant at the Danish Cancer Society, where they conducted independent research on cell division mechanisms. Marie started their professional journey as a student at ACADIA Pharmaceuticals. Marie's work experience demonstrates their expertise in product development, design control, usability engineering, and pre-clinical research in the medical field.

Marie Sigurd Hasemann earned a Cand. Scient degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen in 2002. Marie later completed their Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Tumor Mouse Models at the same university from 2003 to 2007.
