Mario Goethals

Mario Goethals currently serves as the Group Chief Procurement Officer at Atos, beginning in April 2024, where responsibilities include leading the Group Procurement team and enhancing value contribution through strengthened category management. Previously, Mario was the VP of Procurement, Supply Chain & Logistics at Millicom (Tigo) from January 2014 to December 2023, overseeing group procurement efforts with an annual spend exceeding US$2 billion and managing a team of 35 professionals. Mario also served as a Principal at Kearney from August 2000 to December 2013, leading consulting projects across multiple sectors in various regions. Earlier career experiences include positions at Tenneco Automotive, where Mario managed the aftermarket supply chain in Europe, and SCA Packaging as a Management Trainee. Mario holds an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a degree in Business, specializing in Supply Chain Management, from KU Leuven.
