Mikko Erikkilä

Mikko Erikkilä has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Mikko currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Atoy Finland, where they started in June 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member at TSV Group Oy, starting in January 2020.

From September 2021 to August 2022, Mikko was the CEO of Taiga Concept. In this role, they successfully managed a fast turnaround in a demanding silent workspace project-based business environment. Mikko achieved significant milestones such as committing personnel to future growth, negotiating contract manufacturer agreements during the Ukraine war, and reorganizing dealer contracts in line with the new strategy. Mikko also handled cash management, bank financing negotiations, investor communications, and preparation for investment rounds. At Aava Ohjelmistot Oy, Mikko served as the Sales Director from February 2020 to September 2021. In this role, they had sales responsibility for demanding customized ERP systems and was responsible for new customer acquisition and marketing. Mikko played a crucial role in developing the new Metal product family in cooperation with the development team. Prior to this, they were the Sales Manager at the same company from September 2019 to February 2020.

From September 2010 to May 2019, Mikko held the position of Managing Director at KITO ERIKKILA. During their tenure, they were responsible for the complete transformation of the company's management culture and operational profitability amidst a challenging situation of a generation change in a family company. Mikko operated in main markets such as Germany, France, Sweden, Denmark, Japan, and Italy. Before becoming the Managing Director, Mikko also served as the Production Manager from December 2008 to September 2010 and as the Sales Manager from August 2007 to December 2008 at KITO ERIKKILA.

Additionally, Mikko has served as a Board Member at ERIKKILA OY from January 2018 to December 2018, and as a Board Member at Teknologiateollisuus - Technology Industries of Finland from January 2015 to August 2018.

In their early career, Mikko gained valuable experience as an IT Manager at Imperito Oy from June 2006 to August 2008, and at Dell Technologies from March 2003 to January 2006. Mikko also worked as IT Support at STARCUT OY from December 2001 to November 2002.

Moving forward, in 2007, Mikko attended Konsulttitoimisto Seppo Hoffrén, where they participated in a CEO Course, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Currently, their last known educational endeavor was at Mercury Business School, from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a degree in Leadership, focusing on Business Administration and Management.
