Jacob Lester

Jacob Lester has a strong background in risk management and financial sales. Jacob currently works at ATP as the Head of Risk, having started in May 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Risk and Valuation Models at ATP from January 2019 to May 2022. Before joining ATP, Jacob worked at Danske Bank as the Head of Derivatives Sales and Structuring from March 2018 to December 2018, and as the Head of Fixed Income and Derivatives Sales from June 2014 to March 2018. Jacob also has experience at Nordea Markets, where they held various roles including co-Head of Fixed Income and Derivatives Solutions, Head of Institutional Solutions, and Chief Sales Manager. Prior to that, Jacob worked at Citigroup as a Sales Manager.

Jacob Lester earned a Master's degree in Economics from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, from 1992 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics and Finance from the same university, completing it from 1998 to 2001. In 1998-1999, Jacob also participated in the Visiting student PhD program in Economics and Finance at Harvard University. Recently, in 2022, they undertook a program in Bestyrelsesarbejde i finansielle virksomheder - Pension & Forsikring at CBS Bestyrelsesuddannelserne.
