TARJANI AGRAWAL

TARJANI AGRAWAL has over 12 years of professional experience in the field of data science. Starting in 2007, TARJANI AGRAWAL completed a Diploma in Biology from JNCASR, where they isolated sperm specific proteins from mouse testis, standardized and performed molecular cloning for mutant proteins, and applied PCR and tissue culture techniques for expression based studies of mutant proteins. In 2009, TARJANI AGRAWAL worked as a Research Scholar at the National Center for Biological Education, where they designed a large-scale primary and validation genetic screen projects, identified and characterized five receptor proteins for their function in specific temporal and cellular domains to control the maneuver of flies during active flight. In 2015, TARJANI AGRAWAL worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at NYU Langone Medical Center, where they strategized data collection for >10,000 model organisms, each resulting in more than 500 MB data, used MATLAB to analyze the data resulting in cleaner data, and worked with Python for data wrangling and Matplotlib for effective data visualization leading to novel insights. In 2016, TARJANI AGRAWAL worked as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at City University of New York, where they designed the content and the syllabus for the introduction in biology, taught lecture course to 18 second semester undergraduates, and designed quizzes, tests and lectures. Finally, since 2018, TARJANI AGRAWAL has worked as a Data Scientist at @Point of Care, where they digest raw data into actionable reports, insights and visualizations to inform decision making process of internal and external stakeholders, creates end-to-end machine learning products using python, ETL and IBM Watson, performs big data analysis to machine learning solutions using Spark and AWS, and creates and maintains analytic dashboards using Google Analytics and Google Dashboards to provide information to internal and external stakeholders.

Tarjani Agrawal has an extensive educational background. TARJANI is currently enrolled in the Data Science Career Track at Springboard since 2017. Before that, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Neuroscience from NCBS, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research from 2009 to 2015.
