David Ruiz Diaz

David Ruiz Diaz has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. David began their career as a Strategic Consultant and Co-Founder of Grupo Mundired, where they prepared business plans, raised equity, and managed on/off-line projects with Top Telco companies. David then worked at American Express as a Team Manager for Credit Risk Operations, responsible for credit and collections departments for retail and commercial clients. David was also the Chief Risk Officer, where they created and refined underwriting policies, risk models, and strategies for new clients globally.

After American Express, David joined Barclays as the Head of Commercial Recoveries, responsible for finding the best solutions for distressed clients. David later became the Head of Retail Recoveries and Business Support, overseeing retail recoveries and business lending monitoring. David ended their tenure at Barclays as the Head of Retail Collections and Recoveries Spain.

Currently, David is working at Atradius. David started as the Head of Operations - Collections & Recoveries and later became the Head of Collections & Recoveries. David then served as the Regional Manager Iberia at Atradius Collections. Currently, they hold the position of Business Director at ATRADIUS Credito y Caución, where they are a member of the Executive Committee and responsible for all aspects of technical underwriting, client portfolio management, product and business development, claims, collections and recoveries, and international trade for the Credit Insurance Business in Spain, Portugal, and Brazil.

David Ruiz Diaz has a Bachelor's degree in Law and Business from Universidad CEU San Pablo, which they earned from 1992 to 1997. David also holds a Master's degree in Finance and Economics from CEF Centro de Estudios Financieros, completed from 1997 to 1998. In addition, they obtained a Master's in Business Administration (M.B.A) from IE Business School, where they studied from 1999 to 2000.
