David Fern, CWS®, has over two decades of experience in finance and law. Currently serving as Vice President and Financial Consultant at Charles Schwab since August 2002, David has a background that includes roles as VP and Branch Manager at Northwestern Mutual from January 1998 to August 2002, and as an Investment Specialist at AXA Equitable in 1997. Prior to their finance career, David worked as a Financial Consultant at Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP, where responsibilities included legal counsel from August 1994 to January 1997. David earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Virginia School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Centenary College of Louisiana.
