Sarah Begley

Sarah Begley has a diverse range of work experience in the media industry. Sarah is currently the Director of Member Content at Atria Institute since December 2022. Prior to this, Sarah worked at Medium from April 2021 to November 2022, where they served as the Director of Creator Relations and played a key role in transitioning the organization from an Editorial team to a Creator Relations team. Sarah also built and managed a program of over 100 nonfiction authors who blogged about their subject matter expertise. Before their role at Medium, Sarah had various positions at Time Magazine from March 2018 to April 2018, including Books Editor and Staff Writer. Sarah wrote weekly book reviews and contributed to special projects and bookazine issues. Sarah also worked as a Reporter, Digital Operations Editor, and Editorial Assistant at Time Magazine from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they were an Editorial Assistant at Newsweek and The Daily Beast from August 2012 to October 2013. Additionally, Sarah has interned at Hearst Magazines and The Taunton Press, where they gained valuable experience in the editorial field.

Sarah Begley attended Vassar College from 2008 to 2012, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at Vassar College, they focused their studies on English, French and Francophone Studies. In 2010, they participated in a study abroad program at Université Paris Cité, where they studied French Literature for a semester.
