Jim Ferrando

Jim Ferrando is an experienced leader in program management and continuous improvement, currently serving as the Operations Program/ Continuous Improvement Manager at AtriCure, Inc. since January 2017. Prior to this role, Jim held positions including Program Manager at L-3 Fuzing & Ordnance, where oversight included Infrared Imaging and Fuzing programs, and PM at BAE Systems, focusing on program objectives from design to production. Jim's military background includes a distinguished 27-year career in the US Army, culminating in the rank of Colonel, where command involved significant leadership of personnel and assets. Additional experience includes roles at Rotary Lift, where Jim achieved substantial business growth and customer service excellence, and GE Aviation, specializing in aircraft engine design. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Strategic Leadership from The United States Army War College, a Master's of Science in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor's of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
