Cameron Hillis MS ATC CSCS is a skilled athletic trainer currently serving the Charlotte FC MLS Next Pro team at Atrium Health since November 2022. Previously, Cameron held the position of Head Athletic Trainer for the Charlotte Independence SC from February 2018 to November 2022 and provided game day athletic training for the Charlotte Checkers during the off-season. An experienced professional, Cameron has worked in various roles, including in the NHL Player Health Management Department and as Head Athletic Trainer for men's and women's ice hockey at Manhattanville College. Additional experience includes serving as Head Athletic Trainer at Pine Crest School and Dominican College, where Cameron also taught therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation courses. Cameron's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Health Science with a focus on Sports Medicine from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development from the University of Connecticut.
