Steve Pepper

Steve Pepper has extensive experience in regulatory compliance and operations within healthcare and environmental sectors. At Atrium Health since October 2019, Steve oversees facilities regulatory compliance. Previously at Carolinas Healthcare System from May 2006 to November 2024, responsibilities included managing hospital operations with a focus on sustainability and waste management. Leadership was demonstrated as Chairperson of the Mecklenburg County Waste Management Advisory Board from July 2008 to July 2016. Steve also owned and operated QualityChrome Digital Imaging from April 1983 to September 2004, specializing in graphics production. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Belmont Abbey College (2011-2014) and has additional education from Central Piedmont Community College and Randolph Community College.
