Tarun Mohan Lal

Tarun Mohan Lal has extensive work experience in various leadership and analytical roles. Tarun currently serves as the Vice President of Analytics and Solutions/CAO at Atrium Health Navicent, where they oversee the strategic direction and execution of the market's data management program and project portfolio. Tarun has achieved significant cost savings and improved performance through cultural transformation and the innovative use of digital technology.

Prior to their current role, Tarun worked at Wesleyan College as an Adjunct Instructor from July 2019 to December 2021.

Tarun also worked at Mayo Clinic, where they held several positions. As the Director of Operations in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, they oversaw operations, developed business plans, and achieved notable accomplishments such as improving staff satisfaction and standardizing telemetry usage. Tarun also served as the Manager of Advanced Analytics in the Office of Access Management, where they directed analytics and drove performance goals across the enterprise. Additionally, Tarun worked as a Senior Health Services Analyst in the Center for Science of Healthcare Delivery, where they developed predictive analytical products and spearheaded the development of a surgical scheduling tool.

Before joining Mayo Clinic, Tarun worked as a Management Consultant in the Department of Strategy and as a Health Systems Engineering Fellow in the Business Consulting Fellowship Program.

Earlier in their career, Tarun worked at UniMind Software Solutions, Inc as an Implementation Consultant for ERP solutions, and at Usha International as a Process Improvement Engineer.

Tarun Mohan Lal holds a PhD in Systems Science from Binghamton University and a Master of Science in Analytics and Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University. Tarun also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. In terms of certifications, Tarun has completed an Executive Certification in Value Measurement in Healthcare from Harvard Business School, as well as certifications in Data Strategy from LinkedIn, Digital Product Management from Coursera, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Dartmouth College, and Mayo Clinic Gold Quality Fellow from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences.
