John Almasi

John Almasi is an accomplished mechanical designer and manufacturing engineer with extensive experience in designing automated tooling solutions and managing production lines. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Designer at ATS Automation since April 2017, Almasi successfully completed a $6M project 35% under budget and ahead of schedule. Previously, Almasi contributed significantly at Lake Region Medical, securing $35M in new business and earning a patent for a part ejection system. With a career spanning over two decades, John Almasi has worked in various roles, including mechanical designer engineer and tooling design engineer, and has developed a robust expertise in CNC machinery, process improvements, and lean manufacturing practices. Almasi holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Buffalo State University and has completed several additional educational programs in art and mechanical drafting.
