Dr. Gaetan Bonhomme received a Pn.D. in Materials Science and Engineering (2003) Trom Ecole des Mines (France) and an MBA Trom the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2008), where he was the recipient of the McGovern award in Entrepreneurship. After his Ph.D., he was a Sr. Research Scientist at Saint-Gobain Corporation focused on high-performance materials for aerospace applications. He worked closely with manufacturing plants on scale up of new material processes destined for applications at General Electric, Pratt & Whitney, Honeywell, and Rolls Royce. After his MBA at M.LT, he was the co-founder of Kurion, a VC-backed startup in the Environmental space, specifically Nuclear Waste Management. He was the program director of the Fukushima Task force in 2011, a key contract for Kurion worth tens of million. When Kurion was acquired for 350M USS by environmental giant Veolia in March 2016, Dr. Bonhomme was Chief Technology Officer.
