Vernis James

Vernis James has work experience in various roles and companies. They started working as Shelter Staff at the Mental Health Association of San Mateo County in March 2011 before transitioning to the role of Case Manager in July 2011. They worked in this organization until April 2014. In August 2014, they joined Comcast Cable as a Retail Sales Consultant and later became an Xfinity Sales Associate from January 2016 to October 2016. Starting in 2016, Vernis worked at AlienVault as an Account Manager before transitioning to their current role as an Account Manager at AT&T Cybersecurity in January 2019.

Vernis James has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Counseling from Texas A&M Commerce, which was obtained from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2005, Vernis attended De Anza College and earned an AA degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Psychology.

In addition to their formal education, Vernis holds several certifications from LinkedIn. These include "Designing a Presentation," "Influencing Others," "Root Cause Analysis: Getting to the Root of Business Problems," "The Six Biases of Decision-Making," "Creativity Boot Camp," "Design Thinking: Understanding the Process," "A Design Thinking Approach to Putting the Customer First," and "Design Thinking: Implementing the Process." These certifications were obtained between 2021 and 2023.
