Venkat Dhomadugu

Venkat Dhomadugu is an experienced data science professional with a strong background in machine learning, software engineering, and big data. At AT&T, Venkat served as Principal Data Scientist from July 2018 to March 2022, leading a team to develop an AI-driven customer self-service digital Virtual Assistant for internet troubleshooting. Earlier, as Senior Data Scientist, Venkat developed a machine learning model that significantly improved operational efficiency by predicting unnecessary broadband repair dispatches. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Big Data Software Engineer at Futura Systems and Software Developer at Mediware Information Systems. Venkat holds two Master of Science degrees, one in Computer Science (Machine Learning) from Georgia Institute of Technology and another in Civil Engineering (Transportation Engineering) from Virginia Tech.
